World War 1 was a war of many firsts. It was also the beginning of the United States becoming a world superpower where defense was an important part. There was a lot maine things that had happen such as weapons some of the , Weapons made an impact like the Tanks , Poison Gas and U-boats. Then the types of warfare was a part of defense there was the firing trench , Communication trench and , The resting trench. After that there was the communication used there was like different types of communication like a Runner , Radio and , Dogs that was like the runners.
The weapons that were used during WW1 were Tanks, Poison Gas and , U-boats. The Poison gas was used to kill the victims slowly. Tanks was another weapon that was used to cope with the terrain. U-boats were used to launch torpedoes against allied ships making heavy losses. The tanks were developed to cope with the condition on the western front used by the germans. Poison gas was used by being fired into the trenches in shetis used by the United states. U-boats were used by the germans to attack ships.
There was a lot of warfare used in WW1 but one was firing trenches in which troops fired weapons at the enemy. Another type of warfare that was used was backed up by cover trenches in which it provided, A second line of defense in case the enemy troops overran the firing trench. Another one was the off duty resting troops lived in dugouts in support trenches. The warfares that were used were all used in battle field the firing trench had machine guns owned by the United states. The backed up by cover was another trench they were the second line of defense owned by the U.S . The other one was resting dugouts in support trenches.
There was three types of communication that was used the first was runner who carried the message back and forth. The second communication is a radio set which was close as a phone.The third communication that was used were dogs they only were used taking a runners job. Being a runner was an important job to the war effort because there was differents types of groups that man was trained for so they needed a runner to send message to each other. The radio was important because they needed to communicate with each other. The dogs were also important because if a runner was hurt they would sent a dog. Yes we do use a radio today by having a better way to communicate with each other. Dogs are not used anymore because we got a batter radio today. A runner is also not used because we got vocal talkies today.
In conclusion, the new forms of defense during World War 1 played a major role in the war effort by using new weapons. The communication is still used but just a batter improved way today by using better technology . The warfare is still the same in so some ways they still got the backed up by cover was another trench, also they got is off duty resting troops. Also the weapons are still used today better as well as better improved tanks , They don't use poison gas any more because it takes to long to kill the enemy. As you can see there are still using the same things suches Tanks, Weapons, The types of warfare were used and, How they communication was but now in todays time its improved.
